timothy heinen is a guitarist, composer, song writer and worship leader at Journey Church and New Life Church in Plymouth and Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.

With 20 + years of guitar playing under his belt, timothy has developed a unique playing and compositional style, utilizing different techniques on his guitars.

slapping, tapping, strumming, drumming, finger picking and harmonics are pulled out of his bag of tricks.... with melody being the primary focus of his acoustic guitar compositions. tim is one of the new breed of acoustic guitar players writing modern instrumentals, while paying homage to his fingerstylist roots.

tim's songs are intimate and honest. they convey peace, hope, love and commitment to adoration of God. musically, his songs are a mixture of many influences including... acoustic rock, classic rock, blues, folk, jazz, jewish hymns, the psalms, reggee, cool worship music, michael hedges,leo kottke, suzy yaraei and the world as it points to Jesus.
